Since being established in 1971 as a professional salon, Baxter Institute (formerly Sheila Baxter Training Centre) has evolved into a well respected, government accredited training institution. Over the past 20 years we have become leaders in the training of hair and beauty professionals. Recently we have expanded
into training automotive, bakery, fabrication, business and English. We have acquired a level of expertise
few training schools can match and many aspire to. Some of our overseas students have come from countries as far away as Europe, Africa, India, Sri Lanka, England, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, Mauritius, Vietnam and China to experience the unique Baxter Institute training method.
At Baxter Institute we offer certificate and diploma courses in Hair, Beauty, Automotive, Bakery,
Fabrication, Business and English Language which
are government accredited and Austudy approved. Overseas students are welcome as our courses are CRICOS registered.
We also offer a variety of short courses covering all aspects of the hair and beauty industry. Our short courses are available either as preset packages or
you can tailor your selection to suit your own special needs. We offer flexible payment plans, flexible start dates and a flexible timetable all of which make it easier to study if you choose to have a part time job.
